Morning prayers

1. Be my Saviour, Lord, when I am awake,
and watch over me when I sleep,
may I spend my day with you,
and at night repose in your peace.

2. O my God, I believe in you, because you are Truth
itself.
O my God, I hope and trust in you, because of your
promises to me.
O my God, I love you above all things, because you
are so good yourself; teach me to love you daily
more and more.

3. Holy Mary, be a mother to me.
Angels and Saints of God, pray for me.
The Lord bless us and keep us from all evil and bring
us to everlasting life.
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the
mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen!
